Warm West Winds

“I try to find a way to make

All our little joys relate

Without that ever-present hate

But now I know that it’s too late, and…” Johnny Mandel

The west winds are high and warm. As the day began on my watch, I stood to capture every ounce of speed that I could. I have acceptance, no desert. I keep this boat moving westward as the racers are now entirely behind us. Our sister boat is next to us and making good speed. I am feeling better today without nausea, but I am down 10 pounds (mostly fluid). I swim in the ocean and let the sting of the salt water keep my feelings close to the surface. I have surrendered all to God, and I go with his grace and love. I have not ever been stronger with more purpose.
